Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of services.oftimor.com, operated by Mail Timor Tagline Lda ("S.O.T. Services of Timor"). By creating an account or using the site you accept these terms.

1. What we are

Services of Timor is a marketplace: we list independent service providers and let you contact, request and (where available) book and pay them. Providers are not our employees or agents. The contract for any job is between you and the provider.

2. Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep your login secure. One person may not operate multiple customer accounts to manipulate reviews. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, post fake content, or harm other users.

3. Bookings and payment

Prices are set by providers and shown in US dollars. Unless a job is booked and paid through the platform, payment happens directly between you and the provider (cash, transfer or SOTCoin) and the provider is responsible for any receipt and tax obligations. For platform-processed payments, the payment terms shown at checkout apply.

4. Reviews

Only customers who completed a job may review it. Reviews must be honest and respectful. We remove reviews that are fake, paid for, or abusive — in both directions.

5. Liability

We work to keep listings accurate and providers verified, but we do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of any provider's work. To the extent permitted by the law of Timor-Leste, our liability is limited to fees you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Disputes

See the Refunds & Disputes page for the process. These terms are governed by the law of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and the courts of Dili.
