Mail Timor Tagline Lda ("S.O.T. Services of Timor", "we") operates services.oftimor.com, a directory and booking platform connecting customers with service providers in Timor-Leste. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the safeguards we apply. It covers this website and the related Of Timor apps that use your Of Timor account.

What we collect

• Account data — name, phone number, email, municipality, and (for providers) business details and verification documents.
• Job and booking data — requests you send, bookings you make, invoices, reviews and ratings.
• Payment data — if you pay with SOTCoin or another electronic method, we record the transaction; we never store full card numbers.
• Technical data — device type, pages visited and approximate location, used to keep the site fast and secure. Visitor statistics are aggregated and do not store your full IP address.

How we use it

• To connect you with providers or customers — your name and job details are shared only with the party you contact.
• To verify providers and keep fake listings and fake reviews off the platform.
• To send service messages (booking confirmations, reminders) by app notification, email or WhatsApp. Marketing messages are optional and can be switched off.
• To meet legal obligations in Timor-Leste, including tax and anti-fraud rules.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only: with the provider/customer you choose to deal with; with payment processors when you pay electronically; with authorities when the law requires it; and with the other Of Timor network sites when you use one account across them.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your account data at any time from your profile, or by contacting us. Reviews of completed jobs may be kept in anonymised form. We keep invoices and transaction records for the period required by Timor-Leste law.
